The Trust’s Activities:

The Trustees are wholly and solely responsible for the decisions taken by the Trust, and for all of its activities, which must be in fulfilment of its objects. They may be required to present a report and financial accounts to the Charity Commissioners of England and Wales annually.

The ICCFR Trust has objects which enable it to devote itself to the support of the Commission’s programme of activities. In effect, the sister organisations – the Trust and the Commission – are able to share purposes, resources and personnel, the Commission being the operational organisation which can realise the Trust’s plan of action.
This mutually beneficial relationship is helped by the fact that the Trust’s trustees are all long-serving members of the Commission and understand its activities, aspirations and needs.
It is the Trustees’ intention to extend and enrich the Commission’s activities and to use resources to bring the Commission’s work and documentation to the attention of an ever-increasing number of organisations and individuals concerned with couple and family relations in all parts of the world.

Since its foundation, the Trust has supported the active participation in the work of ICCFR by organisations and individuals whose work focuses on supporting couple and family relationships and who would not otherwise have been in a position to do so. The Trust’s bursaries have enabled presenters and participants from a number of countries in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe to attend the ICCFR conferences in recent years.

The Trust’s Funding:

Donations from Foundations and Trusts. individuals and governments have enabled the Trust to offer sponsorship to presenters and participants whose work would benefit from taking part in ICCFR’s international conferences and from countries whose travel funds are scarce.

The Trust intends to seek funds from an increasing number of national governments, from philanthropic organisations and from individuals committed to the support of couples and families – the cornerstone of every democratic society. Those who wish to support its work, and thus that of the Commission, have the opportunity to make use of their own national tax regulations to do so in a tax-efficient fashion. Please consult local government regulations.

Please use our DONATION FORM to support the Trust’s activities.

The Future:

ICCFR has a fifty-one year history of activity and plans have already been made for the next few years. Political climates change. The needs of couples and families change as a result. ICCFR is committed to being able to respond to those changes and to the needs of the professionals and organisations who are dedicated to supporting those basic building blocks of society.

The ICCFR Trust is dedicated to the same purposes and intends to use its resources to preserve and support the fundamental unit of society – the family, parents and children and their kinsfolk.
